This site can be a bit overwhelming at first. There’s a fantastic amount of materials, little avenues to explore, and things to discover. Here are a few suggestions: (1) The Basics is a good place to start. So is taking a few minutes to listen to our Podcast001, “What Is A Christian Mystic?” If the truth be known, The Basics probably needs a good deal of attention to both update and freshen the area, but it’s still a good option. (2) Below are some of the newer items on the site that you might wish to take a look at in your studies and travel. (3) ChristianMystics.com is split into three main areas. The first is the blog, where you can keep up with things on a daily basis by subscribing. The second is the area of the Traditional, which highlights various Christian Mystics within the tradition of Christianity. The third is Contemporary, which features the writings of Brian Robertson and others. This is not a site where you can see it all in one trip. It’s a place to bookmark and return to, to become part of the large community of visitors. The visitors are NOT of one mind. The range is from fundamentalists to liberals, from Episcopals to Unitarians, from Catholics to individuals who may have no connection whatsoever to any church or group. All are welcome.
